Broadmoor Restaurant in Lambertville, NJ, is a treasure for Italian cuisine lovers. With its location on N Union St, the restaurant boasts an unpretentious yet tastefully decorated atmosphere that perfectly complements its delicious offerings. Many patrons rave about the fresh pasta, with the meat sauce receiving special acclaim for its depth of flavor and comforting quality. The warm, inviting service enhances the dining experience, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or casual outings alike.
Customer reviews highlight standout dishes such as the eggplant Parmesan and Beef Stroganoff, which have left diners delighted. However, experiences can be inconsistent, as noted by a recurrent visitor who found their recent meal lacking in comparison to their first visit’s stunning fare. This dichotomy sparks intrigue, suggesting that while Broadmoor can deliver exceptional dining, a touch of unpredictability remains.
Be sure to try the Tiramisu for dessert; it’s frequently described as divine. With a mix of innovative and traditional Italian dishes, Broadmoor Restaurant captures both heart and palate, inviting diners to return, cautiously optimistic for another memorable meal.

We dined at this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday evening. It was hands down one of the best meals out we’ve had in some time. A tastefully decorated yet unfussy decor, atmospheric lighting but not too dark, not noisy, fast service (which we appreciated because we had tickets to a movie afterwards), and the BEST FOOD. Fresh pasta, delicious sauce, delicious salad and dressing. Comfort food served in good taste. All so wonderful and fresh, we couldn’t believe it. Thank you for feeding our souls tonight. Chapter 2: we returned to Broadmoor with friends a month later and while the setting and service was as charming as the first time, most of our meal was surprisingly average. The garlic bread and white bean spread were burnt and flavorless. Truly, every piece of bread was dried and singed. The chicken Parmesan also lacked flavor. The tomato sauce just tasted mildly salty without tomato flavor and the chicken was well cooked but bland. The eggplant Parmesan was similarly disappointing. Less eggplant (or thinner?) than I had in January, and limp - no real flavor. How could these two simple entrees have changed so from one month to the next? We were so looking forward but mildly disappointed.

Great Italian spot. Pasta with meat sauce was the best I've ever had. Definitely a repeat.

Wow, what a great find. This is one of my daughter's favorite places and I can see why.the food, the staff and the atmosphere were top notch. I had the pasta with meat sauce and meatballs on the side with a house salad. Everything was excellent. No room for dessert. Next time.

Delicious and innovative food. It is a small restaurant so reservations are recommended. The eggplant parm and Beef Stroganoff were both outstanding. The Tiramisu and cheesecake were divine.

The Broadmoor was such an incredible dining experience. While I was in town with my friends who own Baked By The River, they insisted on treating me to the best Lambertville had to offer. When we first arrived the place was packed and we thought we might not table. But after the hostess laid eyes upon Jesse and Cord there was an exchange of joy and smiles and a table promptly manifested. We sat in the back booth nestled neatly in the shadow of the kitchen. The wall behind our table was half glass windows enabling a clear view of the chef and kitchen staff. The servers were incredible and always prompt to refill our water and make sure our needs were accommodated. Now the meal was next level. We started with garlic bread and bean dip, then moved on to Escargot and puff pastry. After that I had the Prosciutto with fresh pasta, asparagus, mushrooms, with garlic and cream. For dessert I chose their delicious Tiramisu. What a meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant and meal to anyone.

Amazing Italian food and it’s a BYOB. Really great atmosphere and service too. I can’t wait to return here. Salmon was better than 5 start top rated restaurants in Vegas last week! My husband’s chicken parm was delicious and my friend’s Penne Vodka was the best I ever tasted

The food was so good! The menu isn't too extensive but there's plenty of variety for different palates. The restaurant is wide open and it gets a bit noisy but the ambiance is good and besides you're there for the food. Male a reservation as you won't be able to just show up for dinner. There is plenty of street parking but bring your quarters, even on the weekend. The service is as good as the food which is exquisite! They are a BYOB which helps the total cost but don't think about what the meal costs, food this good needs to be enjoyed without concern for the price which is reasonable for the quality of food.

Great meal here with friends. I had the salmon which they were able to make gluten free for me. They also have gluten free pasta to substitute. It's a shorter menu but all the options are good! Fyi this place is BYOB but there is a wine tasting room across the street and a beer and liquor store down the block.
